Deshaker Problem

I installed VMWARE & VDUb on my Mac so I could use Deshaker.

When I use the filter on a d90 avi clip, the filter won't do the pass because the output size says "1280 x 730?".

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change this. The aspect ratio on pass 2 has no effect on pass 1, so that doesn't work.

Why would it do this...and where do I change it? I am going crazy...

The output of the first pass is supposed to be 730. How does this stop you from processing the clip? You're not supposed to "dub" the file on the first pass, just click the play output button and let it log the motion, then change to pass 2 and "save as avi".

After I press play on the output side(following pass 1), the output screen is black and i the lower left hand corner it says "no previous frame to match on".

I fixed it...that's what I get for being a mac user.

The only thing I was doing wrong was I wasn't pressing the right play button. Ridiculie.

Do you use any compression? If so, which one?

I chose uncompressed and it's too big...

picvideo, dunno if it's good for mac, but it's good, nay perfect for D90 stuff

Picvideo works well on the mac using the built in mjpeg codec, as does huffyuv if you have perian.
