Deployment Strategy - sci fi short.

hey guys,
I posted stills from my sci-fi short a while ago in this forum. here is a an episode of our newest Behind-the-scenes video blog.

This episode is titled, Anatomy of a Fight Scene

The BTS footage is from a Sony DCR-TRV900. You'll see cc clips from actual film (in letterboxed format) which was shot with the dvx. (What a difference man!!)

Granted the DVX footage is color corrected, but this episode is still a good comparison of the two cameras. Enjoy.

looks fantastic man!!! really really great editing and such. Colours are terrific and so are framing and lighting.

you seemed to be using tons of lights, were they mostly for back light? Also what was your lighting steup like?

i posted our entire lighting package here

it wasn't a huge lighting package by any means, but it did make a huge impact IMO. I had a good friend shoot his film with the same camera and no real lighting package at his dailies looked very different.
 
as i said on the other thread this is good stuff...i'm serious you should contact sci-fi and see if you can get it aired somehow.
