Denz PL Adapter for Panasonic AG-AF101, it doesn't get better than this...

Looks like there are two locking levers; could this have built-in back-focus adjustment eliminating the need for shims?

Tried to search for the adapter, but website just says coming soon.

If this is what I think it is, I believe I'll make do with my eBay adapter until I can get one.

Good shooting and best regards,

Leo

From the video it looks like the locking levers are both on the lens mount ring, so not for shimming.

Interesting idea with it integrated on a rails mount. Obvious questions are pricing and availability. Second obvious question is can the mount be shimmed or does it have any adjustable shimming in and of itself? Does it absolutely guarantee a perfect distance from the sensor?

I'm sure the argument is that if you are using PL mount then money is no object. Given that the 7D upgrade was more than double the cost of the original camera. I expect this to be a rental house item. You want the cooke s4's or the Master Primes, you take this mount.

I wouldn't say "money is no object", but I can guarantee you that when I am hanging my RPZ 50-150mm off of my af-100, i will NOT be going cheap on something as critical as the mount.

Obviously it does get better than this...
