Hey all,

Just put together part of my first demo reel. It features my last music video, as well as the music video I'm currently working on, as well as a few skits I've done. I hope to have it finished by the end of the year after I finish a few more projects.

There's a slight 15 second gap towards the end of black but there is some stuff at the end. I'm saving that spot for the next two music videos and shows I'm doing.

- Music by me (I'm playing the piano as well as taking the sound and adding the beat).

Hope you guys enjoy! Feedback is appreciated!

Great work! I just posted on the other thread re: greek modeling, but now I'm wondering whether I commented on the right person. I'm thinking you're the same guy that made Race Patrol. Pardon me if you're not. I'm now looking through your thread history so I'm sure I'll come across it eventually. Anyway, great work once again!

BTW, did you achieve the bounce in the rap video by moving the cam itself or in post? If in post, did you just use the motion controls or some sort of shake effect?

Liked it. Liked the background music. The guy with the arm in his shirt was hilarious...

Hey,

Yeah I did Race Patrol. The bounce in the video was done by just shaking the camera on the tripod to the beat of the song. The rain was done with a water hose and 2 750w lights backlighting it (and one in the front to illuminate the artist).

Glad you all enjoyed it!

Did the video go black for about 25 seconds for anybody else?

Also, at the end on the piano we get the impression that he is playing what we hear, but it goes to a high pitch while his hands go lower.

If you read his initial post....he explains that to you....

Actually, the reason it looks reversed is because I'm actually shooting the reflection of my hands off of the piano. It threw my off at first but I kinda liked it afterwards.

And yes, the black is where new material is going. It's unfinished as of now.

Hey. Pretty good. Nice work on the Rain and thanks for sharing how you did it. Also the guys with the guns right before it goes black, they are interlaced. You should try to de-interlace it if its going to be shown on a computer.
Good luck with the rest of it. :)
