demo reel shot with dvx

Re: demo reel shot with dvx

That was great Corey! You've got a great look to your shots. I like the guy rolling the barrel with the sun in the background, very nice. How did you get those smooth panned shots?

Re: demo reel shot with dvx

Seriously some cool stuff, man. I'd love to see some of those shorts in their entirety.

Wow man, I love it. Do you have a crane? Those pans look amazing.

Great reel though... Love the music.

You have any links to the actual shorts? They look great.

Re: demo reel shot with dvx

I don't know what that's about, but I sure want to watch it! All of the elements – photography, music, editing, and acting were well integrated, giving it a great look and feel.

Good job.

Re: demo reel shot with dvx

Thanks for the feedback,I'm glad you like it.
The stuff with the hillbillies is from a series
of 24 shorts that I made over the summer
entitled "Swampdonkey"They will be posted up on the internet very soon.
The dolly I use is just a basic doorway dolly.

Thanks again.

Re: demo reel shot with dvx

Are you trying to solicit work with this reel?

If so, and you want to direct, I would not splice stuff together like its a graphics reel, or a cinematography reel. Yes, potential clients want to see good visuals from a director, but foremost they want to see how they tell a story.

If you're just doing this for personal satisfaction you can ignore my comments.

Very smooth dolly work. Very nice.

Re: demo reel shot with dvx

Have you posted your short with the bag heads yet?  That one got my interest.

Re: demo reel shot with dvx
