Demo Reel, rough cut help

Hey all,

Just did a rough cut of a demo reel - first one actually - I've been a lazy turd all these years.

I myself am a fulltime editor/shooter mainly doing event videography, but there's a few corporate studios locally hiring freelance for editors/shooters, but instead, mainly doing music video/narrative/motion fx etc, so thought I'd finally put together this demo reel with non-live event videography.

I still have to add some motionFX titles ie "corporate" "documentary" "music" "Client names/project names" "16mm film" etc as a tag for the clips, but before I do that, I would like to see what you think how it works with just the clips alone - it's 2:30 right now and I'd like to shave off 30 seconds and maybe change the music, let me know if something just well sucks and should be cut out.

- yeah keep mind I have yet to add titles - so the black/abstract shot in the beginning will have a snazzy titlin' sequence set to the music.

Thanks

It's mostly DVX footage, with some 16mm/Super8 in brief segments

I love the footage, nice colors and motion.
I agree that shaving off 30 seconds will really help.
I know you plan on adding something in the begining that tells us who you are what this reel is (Directors, DP, whatever).

Overall I like where this is going.
