Demo Reel - No 35MM Adapter Footage.

You're clearly a talented person. How big are these productions?
Do you do producing too? Everything looks and sounds great, and your stories seem interesting. Good work!

Thanks joakim.

The Goblin Man of Norway was the biggest production out of the three. Even then, the actual shooting was only myself and a producer. On two occasions we had two helping hands to set up lights. In post, I had access to graphic artists and people with computer modeling and animation skills. They did a great job on some of the CG shots in the film. Overall, I don't think the budget exceeded $3000, and a huge chunk of that cost was for traveling.

Colore Non Vedenti was literally myself and some friends shooting on weekends. A close friend of mine had shown interest in helping out, so he's now learning the ropes in producing and has done a great job setting up a lot of the locations and getting in touch with the actors. We had help from some great actors who drove in from Toronto, and I basically showed a couple of my friends how to set up lights and hold the boom mic while I handled all of the camera and DP stuff. The budget was $900, which went to food and gas money for the actors. They had to drive an hour back and forth for each shoot.

Beauty Day is literally being done for nothing. A two man crew -- myself and my friend, who'd started producing on Colore -- and that's about it. Our subject lives about a 4 minute drive from me, so we just pop over there whenever we need more footage or want to expand on some interviews. We will have to travel to Toronto for an interview in the near future, which will cost us about $20 in gas money. So the budget thus far, aside from our time, is 0. Once we're finished the film, we hope to get a pro sound mix done and some marketing materials for festivals. There's also the festival entry fees. We've applied for a grant to help us out with all of this.

Hopefully that gives you an idea of the size of these films. VERY small productions with VERY small 'crews'. It can be done! We're planning a horror feature in the near future!

I just did a google search on The Goblin Man of Norway... Excellent viral marketing! I always like when people can't tell whether it's real or fictional haha. And to have all those people on youtube getting mad and posting things like "FAKE!" just proves that you were succesful in what you were trying to create. Good Job
