Demo reel Dvx100b with 35mm adapter and magic bullet

This is my 2 minutes demo reel shot with my dvx100b, the Redrock M2 35mm adapter (with a 50mm f1.4 nikon lens) and the color correction was done with magic bullet editor in premiere pro. Please give me as much feedback as possible ! I will be around if you have any questions!

PS: my name is Iouri-Philippe, I'm 21, I'm from Montreal and I am starting my first year in Film Production at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema in Concordia University, and I have never presented anything anywhere so I'm dying to receive any comments from you guys !!!
 
Hey dude, you got some nice shots there. Lot of toes :)
If I were to give some criticism, it would be that concidering the title "Director reel", it doens't really show your work as a director. This looks more like cinematographers reel, which it works well for, I was entertained for the two minutes. But if it's supposed to be a directors reel, I would suggest you put in some acting and scenes since directing actors is the most important part of the job (at least in my opinion).
But the shots are nice :)

hey man, great reel. But i would have to agree, seems more like a DoP/ editing reel, especially with the cool effects you have going on for the first 45 seconds.

By the way, i haven't seen you in school yet mister peter pan ;) im dong my second year at mel's. Got a photo/name? maybe we'll run into each other.

Smettli : Your probably right, I ended up putting majorly DOP shots in my demo, the thing is I’m mostly a short film director (though most of my short film footage was kind of too ugly to blend with the other shots…), so I like to consider myself primarily as a director, but I have to agree with you, my demo does not represent it that much … I might follow your suggestion and change the name !

TheComo and marketmd : I used the color pass technique in premiere pro to isolate the green, then did a big job on magic bullet (black diffusion, white diffusion, pre and post gama/contrast)

PaPa : My name is Iouri Philippe Paillé, I’m in François Miron’s Film prod 1 class …If you speak french, you can take a look at my short film "bouche à orteils", the guy that plays the main character is in Film prod as well, he's my best friend, we are always together, I also play a small role in the film, I'm the guy in the shower but we don't see my face ... here is the link :
