I've never posted a demo reel to work before publicly, but here goes:

It's just quick clips of a lot of different stuff that I've done over the past couple of years.

And yes, that is an AE template. Although it was created with HUGE files, so it ended up crashing my computer over and over, so I had to recreate almost half of the assets by hand (a little over a hundred). But it still saved me time in the long run.

very nice reel - lot's of good stuff to look at, a good variety of stuff, well edited and very well paced. definitely not one of those DRs you stop watching after 30 seconds. my only critical comment is that around :40 you have that action shot where the guy gets his throat slit, followed shortly thereafter by the Cambodian children piece - it stuck out to me bc of how different the videos are. nothing is wrong with either one, in fact I'd argue that having both is absolutely an asset as it shows the diverse range of material you're capable of working on, but the juxtaposition of them stood out to me.

just a random question, are these videos shown in chronological order?

Very valid point. I may move those a little further apart, or eliminate the throat shot all together. There's always that sad moment that you realize, "This no longer belongs" and I'm hoping to get a few more miles out of that one. Then again, at the end of this year I anticipate 5 or 6 of those will have to go. And that's a good thing, because it means I have better stuff to replace it with.

No, they're in no particular order whatsoever.
