Love to hear from you guys. I am an 18 year old director/cinematographer from Canada who's starting to do a lot more of my own cinematography. Mostly worked as a 1st and 2nd AC on features, commercials etc and starting to move more towards my own projects.
I like the shot off the top but, you may want to start with your title, then go into that, it catches me a bit off guard. A whip pan in the middle shows a really bad overexposure on a roof and sky(I'd lose that). Make the syringe shot quicker, goes for a little too long. You can probably lose the reversed b&w shot in the school hallway, the first shot is a better move, the reversed shot move is a little sloppy. Altogether I would work on the timing, editing and effects of this edit. You show off some effect work which is good, maybe tune in some different transitions to bring this reel together as a whole. I like the music(make it start right away). All in all tighten all the shots up, don't stay on each for too long, otherwise people start dissecting how you did the effect, losing its illusion. Good start though, best of luck!
