Looking for the thread that focused on the Dell 24" monitor. I remembered new discounts popped up every other week for this monitor and I was hoping to snag a couple before Christmas.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

thanks,

check on eBay. I just got one that I'm using at this moment for $830 including shipping. another one should be shipping in a couple days and that one's costing $840 with shipping.

Well now would be a good time Jarred, since you're in Canada.
Dell Canada's selling the 2405FPW at 20% off until tomorrow.
I just ordered one tonight~ And got an extra $50 off for signing up for their email deals thing... (you get a 10% off coupon)
it's not supposed to apply to other deals, but it seems Dell is ready to bend for a sale, it took no grease at all.

that wasn't meant to sound dirty.

Damn Canadians... always getting the good deals.

*shakes fist in air*

$989 + tax total price

only PST really, since we get GST back.

I'm glad to hear you like yours. I'm guessing it will complement the new dual-core G5 well...

still on sale today for $1039
:)

i think it's the last day... but this is the second time i've seen them advertise this price, so it'll come around again.

or they'll start selling them for less than a grand. that's more likely...

I've heard Dell is coming out with a 30 incher on Dec 21, would it be wise to wait until then?

"No price, but it should hit North America on December 21st, which means you’ll have to choose between buying Christmas presents for your loved ones or buying yourself one sweet LCD panel." :undecided

Sorry kids.. no x-mas presents this year.. Dad has to buy a 30" Dell!

2560 x 1600.. now that's what I'm talking about.
