Dell 2405,

Oh, it's heavy, that's for sure, at 22 pounds. But considering that my 13" CRT standard-def monitor is about 40 pounds, and even a little 9" CRT is 17 pounds, the Dell is certainly luggable enough, and dramatically larger than both of them.

Dell 2405 Fpw Monitor - Sound Output For Pip/pbp

Hi,

My father recently decided to buy this monitor in order to help him with his online trading. He watches DVD's (through a PlayStation 2) that teach him ways to trade and what not. ANYWAY, the important thing is that he wants to be able to HEAR the DVD playing in the PIP and actually perform the tasks on the computer as he is learning, but we cannot seem to be able to get audio out of the PIP, only the desktop audio works. Now he has bought several adapters in hopes of stumbling upon a solution but still nothing has worked. Does anyone know how I could make the necessary connections between the PS2 and the computer (Dell Dimension 5150) to allow for audio output from the PIP/PBP?

PLEEEEASE and THANK YOU!
:crybaby:

the dell is NOT a reference monitor. using it with the matrox MXO is the closest thing to "reference quality" youre going to get, but on its own, no. its not.

its a great computer monitor though - probably the best one availiable for the money

baller - why doesnt he just get a cheap external audio mixer? it'll sound better and give you more options.
