deletion of clips?

Hi,
brand new to using the panasonic hvx200. I've been shooting fine, playing back fine, but am having no luck in trying to delete individual clips in camera.
I am in mcr mode and the highlight option to delete a clip is greyed out. what does this mean? I have gone through the manual and can't seem to find a solution. can anyone help me?

Hi Rich, If it's the same as the HPX170 then all all yu have to do is after selecting the clip to delete, is press the rocker (pause) button in, and it will highlight the thumbnail with a green border. The "delete" option on the "Operation" menu will then become active.

I'm pretty new at this as well and have a hundred questions. Lots to learn here.

i figured it out a couple of hours after posting. the manual doesn't seem to do a very good job of explaining the deletion of clips. thanks for the help.

Rich, if you dont have Barry Green's book and Bootcamp DVD set you should get them. They are excellent, very well presented and cover a huge amount on the camera. I couldn do without them, and are well worth the money.

One of the first things i did was search for barry green's book. my local borders and b and n
didnt have it so i have ordered one of the last one's online thru amazon.
ive only heard good things.
