Deleting Clips from a card

What is the correct way to delete clips from a SDHC card? Is there a menu choice where you can delete individual clips? Or do you either have to format in camera to wipe it, or just delete the whole file structure when reading it on your computer?

You can delete individual clips, or groups of clips. Go to the playback mode, in the menus, and select what clips you want to have deleted. If you want to delete individual clips, go in and nuke 'em one by one. If you want to delete a bunch of clips, choose what they have in common (same format, or marked clips, etc) and then choose "delete all". Just be sure that the only clips being displayed are the ones you want gone!

You can also delete a clip immediately after you shoot it, if you know that clip's never going to be used, by assigning "delete last clip" to one of your user buttons and then pressing that user button right after you stop recording.
