definitive 5d/Anamorphic post from a Anamorphic God?

It would be really amazing and awesome if someone who is well versed in all the options for anamorphic on the 5d would do some sort of round up of all the options. I have read almost every single post on all the various anamorphic threads and still not sure what conclusions we have come to. The only thing I know for sure is that the 3 isco's are the holy grail. (seems like everyone else knows that too) after watching several go waaaay out of my price range on ebay I am really in need of another solution. I know next in line are the Kowa 8z and then the sankor (still not sure if anyone got them to mount properly and had any consistent success) Can some jedi master anamorphic God chime in and lay it all on the line for all the young padawans. thanks.

Kind of like the early days of the using the 5d, after a couple of months of experimenting, a genius would make checklist of do's and dont's facts we can count on. just wishing here, or if there are few more definitive posts people can remember please send them my way.

I agree.
For now I just have an adapter, but really wanted to know if anybody had info. on new anamorphic lenses/adapters coming out.
One of these companies has to have something in the pipeline.
