What are the default time code settings on the DVX 100A.
I somehow must have changed them and now, when the tape is stopped, the counter in the "Current Time Field" in Final Cut Pro is a number up in the 18-19 hours range. I got that counter to stop moving, but can't figure out how to reset it and make it one with FCP again.
When the tape is moving, "Current Time Field" reverts to the counter on the camera, but not always exactly the same. When I try to go to a specific spot on the tape, I get error notes telling me that FCP can't find the time code or that it is out of range.
All this makes logging and capturing miserable, and only "Capture Now" in real time is stable.
