Default scence file settings?

mash

Hi, I discovered something interesting with my new camera. I found out that I could write a scence file to the SD card and then edit the file on my Dell Axim x51v handheld.
My Question is in my fumblings and experiments I think I accidentaly adjusted the cameras default scence settings.
If I did how do I set them back to thier default settings?

Thanks, Mike

In each scene file there's an option for "INIT", which restores that particular scene file to the factory defaults.

So, while you're in there messing with your scene files, try changing the frame rate...

Ah ok Thanks. Will do. Hopefully if the gods of shipping smile on me I'll get your book sometime this year :)

Hey Barry,

Sorry to hijack this thread, but your framerate hack is OUTSTANDING. I've only used it to shoot 2 frames per sec, which is great for timelapse, but I was wondering if the hack works on the larger end for even slower motion than 60fps?

And, if some value is typed into the scene file that can't be achieved (say, 90fps for example), is there any danger to the camera? I'm guessing it'll go to default if it can't handle the frame rate you're trying to achieve.

Cheers,

Maximum speed is 60. If you type in a bigger number, it just repeats part of the earlier sequence. So no, I haven't found a way to "break" the camera, but that doesn't mean you won't...
