GH4 decent headphones?

Might want to try them on before you buy them. Last month I went looking for a new set of headphones, thinking the HD280 was the right set, but found I really didn't like how they fit on my head. They were kind of tight and uncomfortable. Ended up getting the ATH-M50x instead. I'm glad I took the time to find a store that could let me try them first.

I've owned both and I can say that they sound very similar. The Sonys are lighter and better build, and the Sennheisers have better isolation and I found them more comfortable.

Funny how it has never happened to me and it's not just the Sony, none of my pro headphones do that. Maybe cause I'm not a heavy sweater.

Sony 7506's for over 8 years now, no complaints, still in great condition

I have an old pair of Sony MDR V6 which you can pry from my cold dead hands. Love love love them. They are almost identical to the 7506s. Last year I received a set of Audio Technica ATH M50s for Christmas. I wanted to try them after hearing them compared often to the Sonys. I have found I prefer both the fit and comfort and the sound of my trusty MDR V6.

I like these Senal SMH-1000 a lot. Just picked up a pair for a separate kit and they sound great. Comes with both a 10' coiled and short 3' straight cord that is detachable for better storage. They compare very well to the Sony 7506.

I use IEMs. Good isolation and won't make your ears sweat in hot humid weather.
