Death Race

I wrote my senior thesis paper in undergrad school as a Freudian-Feminist deconstruction of Feminine Archetypes in Spacehunter: Adventure in the Forbidden Zone. From memory.

Do they have scars? I hate it, when they have scars...

The villain in that movie scared the crap out of me as a kid.

I love it when these film threads go off on a totally unrelated tangent.

And to think, I was going to resurrect the "Blindness" thread. Went with Deathrace instead.

If you haven't already, check out the first two Guy Ritchie films he was in, and also The Bank Job, which is Statham's best film.
Haven't seen it yet. Movies about banks, casinos don't make impression for me. It is about topic, not about the actor.

And if you haven't seen Statham in Dungeon Siege, don't bother. That was a really bad movie, and I wonder how they blackmailed him into it.

Not an unforgetable but FORGETABLE action film that people will soon try not to care to remember. I'll be willing to bet that the only thing most guys will remember somewhere in the back of their mind is the hot hispanic side-kick chick. Just my five copper pennies... :)
