Death Of Seasons

Thanks Lyons Den and congrats on HUNTING CAMP. I look forward to seeing the whole thing (will be ordering the DVD).

I will keep everyone's comments in mind for the refined teaser.

I appreciate the Kevin Smith comment. He and Linklater are influential in that they both portray intelligent, articulate characters in their work, which is something we tried to do.

I really think if you just change those two things in your trailer that you'll have a winner for a teaser. Just my opinion though, take all the commentary here with you as you go back and refine but don't lose your own vision just to make us happy. I'm curious to see how it turns out. Make sure once you do a full-blown trailer though to put some more story elements into the mix...

Thanks for your kind words on HC. I've seen some of your comments on other films/threads here and I value your opinion so I'll be expecting a return critique once you see it?

AFI is on a major label now, so you kinda caught em' a couple years late. Back when they were on NITRO RECORDS you probably could have gotten the song for virtually nothing. Good luck.

Lyons Den, thanks, I will definitely let you know what I think as soon as I see it. I respect your opinion as well and I was pleased to see you chimed in.

Got the trailer roughly laid out in my head, and it will convey glimpses of the story.

Slimothy, yes, too bad we didn't do this before AFI blew up, I'm going to look into securing rights for a song or 2, hopefully we'll have some luck there and they won't blow us away with the cost at least for festival rights, then once we get distribution maybe we'll have the funds to fully license... Since they are a punk band that's been around for a very long time, hopefully they'll support the cause of us struggling filmmakers... I'm still unsure about rights to songs for internet and press kit trailers/teasers, but I guess I'll find out.

Yeah, apparently the server does that sometimes, try to refresh... I may need to look into new hosting. Sorry about that. Please try again :)
