A couple of things... I don't think the 2.40:1 adds and in fact most often crops the tops of heads of the talent, which for me is a negative. The camera angle is pretty low as well in many shots.

Now of course if that is to parody the current rage of 'wide/wesAndersonesque/handheld' framing... well by all means...

I was lumping the various techniques together... perhaps "wide/wesAndersonesque", "handheld" framing... I'm not a fan of 'wide' you may surmise, so for me it really has to 'work' for the story...
