GH5 Dealing with gh5 Monitor Lag

How have you guys been coping with the monitor lag? I have a 5 inch Ikan that I just bought from b and h and the lag is pretty terrible to the point where if I needed someone to pull focus I don't think they'd be able to do it on the monitor alone...pretty annoying. Have you guys discovered any work arounds to the lag issue? Is panasonic working on some sort of a fix?

Is this for Narrative?...if so, a simple solution is the time honored marks for actors to hit, and the focus puller watches the actors hit their marks...the idea of watching a monitor while pulling focus is not the most accurate way to hit focus. But that's of course only for shooting Narrative...which I presume you are, using a focus puller.
