A little background info...

This is going to be a modern re-telling of the death of Wild Bill Hickok. To the history buffs - this won't be entirely accurate (starting with the time period), but there will be some easter eggs in there for you. I suppose it might be more accurate to say that this is INSPIRED BY the death of Wild Bill Hickok.

Anyway, I sent a PM to the mods to make sure that this will fit in for WestFest. I got pretty excited about the idea and created a thread, so hopefully they will ok it and I'll proceed.

Planning to shoot this in late May / early June with my brand new Canon 5D Mark II and some talented actors from the Hoboken area. If you're around NYC/NJ and want to lend a hand, hit me up. I have a lot of gear but could always use an extra hand or two on set.
