Just some random shots of the "Snowpocalypse" this past weekend. Nothing special really, but I had some cabin fever, so I felt like just getting out and shooting something.

By the way, the rumors are true—the HMC's focus ring gets sticky and sluggish as hell in the cold. Also, I realized how hard it is to operate a camera when your hands are freezing...I'm pretty sure I accidentally had gain all the whole time because I was just too cold to notice. :) Also, I stuck a UV filter on my lens to protect it...so any artifacts you see are on the cheapo UV filter, not my lens.
 
very nice. Did you happen to make it to the huge snowball fight? Ive been stuck at home for 3 days now! I was going to go out and shoot video but i took photos instead.
 
I avoided the Dupont shenanigans as I was mildly worried that I'd get hit with a snowball and drop my camera. ;-)
