I am trying to buy or make a DC plug from the Swit battery model S-8BG6 to a TVLogic VFM-056W. I ordered DC plugs but the tip is not wide enough to fit the pin. Does anyone know where I can buy such cables or the spec for the DC plug itself so I can make some?
Radio Shack. Walk in and test a few out to find what you need.
Failing that, buy some defunct electronic components from a yard sale... most 120->12V DC transformers will have the right plug side. Clip two to length, join, solder, and shrinkwrap.
Thanks Barry, I'll call them. mcbob, I did go to Radio Shack and to my complete dismay, the local one did not have connections suitable or even cords I could butcher. I found some connections online and they were not the right size for the pin (http://www.amazon.com/Gino-2-1x5-5m...347917751&sr=8-3&keywords=2.1mm+dc+power+jack). That's odd because they say 2.1mm on them. I thought that was it. Nope
I was thinking the same thing about the transformers so I tried a couple of defunct transformers that I had in my box-of-stuff-I-never-throw-out and they were also smaller too.
I ordered the DC to DC plug for the Swit to the TV Logic from Dolgin. They were really great. Thanks to Alex. I sent some pictures and a link to the spec sheet for the monitor once he figured out what I was asking for he rushed it out.
