I started that VA user thread. I'm in C'Ville right now but might be taking a job up in Bethesda, MD soon. I'm going to be looking at places in Arlington more than likely.
 
I was in Silver Spring until this summer when I moved down th North Carolina. Too bad I didn't know then!
 
catalyst, I just moved to Silver Spring 4 weeks ago. I'm working in Downtown Bethesda. We should collaborate. You know of any local acting groups, resources, etc.?
 
Minneapolis, MN for now. Moving back in the summer. In the country at the end of route 66! (or somewhere around there). Born and raised in Arlington and Alexandria.

Coming back for some editing gigs here and there starting soon.

Gonna build a little training center in the Shenandoah's!!!!!

For production it certainly has been, I've been fortunate to have a gig doing some HD News at NHK. It's starting to pick up now though so, I can maybe start justifying that 2nd kino and new Lite panel (ouch!). But they sure are pretty. Thinking I'm gonna do the HVX thing now too.
 
Hey guys - anyone know of a good place to pick up Panasonic MQ MiniDV tapes in the DC area? I've been trying to find a resource that is local...

I don't know of any off the top of my head but it's going to be hard since they aren't in production anymore and one they're gone they're gone
 
I know the old ones aren't being made, but I was kind of referring to the latest iteration of them...I think they are still in production...

Just looking for a place in the DC area that stocks them...

Pretty sure I've bought some at CTL on Georgia Ave. in Silver Spring, but I've always found it cheaper and easier to buy cases on the web.

Yup, taperesources dot com will get them to you the next day after you order, since they are in VA beach.
