Day-Lit Interior, Interview Frame Grabs

Very nice. This is my approach to lighting interviews as well. Mother nature does it best, so when at all possible I try to use natural light. As you wrote in your post, sometimes it can work against you when cloud cover is moving, or if you are shooting near sunset and light and color temperature is changing quickly. But I find using natural light is more freeing, and you can get by with less lighting gear. Also, the iphone app SunSeeker is incredibly helpful for natural light shoots, showing you where the sun will be at any given hour.

Really nice interviews!
I've wrestled with rapidly changing daylight (due to fast moving clouds and/or storms) a few times, but am in agreement that this is often better than the "close the blinds, seal out the world" approach.
