Highlights:
General performance and stability improvements

I've also been told a bug I discovered has been addressed when working with R3D files, and that Camera Raw changes made in the media page now get reflected in the Color Page.

Those guys are animals. Hardly anybody knew what I was asking for, and they were on it before I even said anything.

What would the rest of the world be like if it was as fast and efficient as the Resolve team?

Flying cars? Magic toasters? The mind boggles.

I too am overwhelmed with the speed and response lately by some of these manufacturers..

Hm, now if only Sony would get off their ass and deliver those exposure tools & MLUTs.

Nice!.. Thanks Dennis

**Just a heads up, if you only have the Lite version be careful not download the full version. Like I did..

I did too. I assume the link above was for Lite and now I am trying to get back to lite but it is still asking for the code.

I've updated post with links to full and lite versions. Sorry about that guys,.
Not a biggie. Just install the lite version and everything is back to normal.
By the way thanks for telling me about the Lite 9. I had tried 8 and with only 2 nodes it wasn't working for me. I have been learning 9 Lite and I'm beginning to feel comfortable with it enough to switch from Apple's Color. I finished the outside shots on this commercial with it. Clips were recorded to the internal recorder and converted to ProRes HQ to match the timeline's chroma keyed clips in Resolve after grading.
One thing maybe I missed is the update. I had to actually download and install because there is no auto update in OSX or even on Resolve while open. In other words, I knew of the update because you posted it.

There are no limits to the number of nodes on the Lite version and Resolve is definitely more advanced (not to mention efficient) to professionally grade video/film so I've officially switched over to it from Adobe for higher end work. CS6 is still excellent for the basics and there are a few hidden "gem" filters in Premiere that let you do some advanced secondary color correction etc.. but lately I've been playing with Resolve on some of my older F3 footage and quite amazed at how much better I can make even my 8-bit footage look with far less effort.

I haven't brought any new Pix footage into Resolve since the 9.1.3 update. But after updating to 9.1.3, footage previously imported from the Pix still shows beginning TC of 0 for each clip.

I am having similar issues with importing Premiere Pro CS6 into Resolve 9.1.3. It's not honoring timecode in points on clips. I've been using FCP XML to import. I thought it was me. My footage is from a NanoFlash.

A couple of questions...

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Can you back down to a previous version of Resolve if you are using the database management approach to file management? I know in previous versions of Resolve there has been a DB update between versions but I haven't seen that in the recent versions.

I updated my MacBook Pro Retina to 10.8.3. Tried to do the Cuda update to 5.0.45. It says it failed, and needs update, but shows it as the installed update. Now Resolve will not work. Having a horrible time trying to get any feedback from NVidia, Black Magic. AppleCare didn't know about it, and can't find any info on forums about issues with MacBook Pros

Anyone have any ideas

Yeah, I hear that a lot. Looks like Apple Laptops are nothe best bet for portable grading.
My Dell XSL Laptop work surprisingly good with Resolve.
Realtime with RED files and almost realtime with CinemaDNGs from my BMCs.

Quickly whipped together a timeline to test importation via EDL and it worked in terms of honoring in points, recognizing the timecode. Haven't tested stock transitions but it appears there is a workaround depending on how your sophisticated your timeline is.

Interesting that Resolve is bumping to version 10. I hope they haven't done another rejig of the UI. The last one was good but there is A LOT to be said about maintaining a consistent UI over time.

I'm running 10.8.2 but my macbook has a Radeon installed which prior to Mountain Lion DaVinci would not support at all. So far so good on my mackbook and DaVinci but hopefully nvidia will work with BMD to fix the cuda issue. I don't plan on updating to 10.8.3 for a while just incase... Nigel is there any easy way to roll it back to 10.8.2?

On the PC front, my roundtrip from Premiere to Resolve 9.1.3 works no problem. Are the TC issues people are experiencing specific to external decks or something?
