DaVinci resolve color match nikon Z6 - Pana GH5

Hello,
I’m on the way to produce an interview with my nikon Z6 attached to atomos ninja V and I I need to use a second camera as B-Roll.
Actually I can use a Panasonic GH5
Or an old D800. Using D800 I can only record 8bit internally , and the file seems a bit softer)
Otherwise if nothing can help I could rent another nikon z6 or a nikon D850.

What about matching Z6 and GH5 that I own? I have criteri color checker passport. I tried some times matching them but unfortunately it seems hard to match them..

In nikon Z6 I don’t want to use proresraw but I would prefear log 10bit.
In DaVinci resolve I usually I set the color chart (in GH5 I set blog in input and rec709 in output, in Z6 file rec709 input and output) but they don’t match well. I usually register 10bit log on Z6 and same on GH5 10bit 155mb/s. Any suggestions to have a good and usable B-roll with matched colours?

Start: try to white balance both camera's on the same chart. Use that as starting point for any preset.

In post: I usually match my camera's in post (panasonic and sony) using no more than color temp and brightness.
I shoot in slog2 (sony) and 709 (panasonic)

I spend a lot of time colour matching my Z6's to a Sony FS5 for multicam recordings. Last time I had to manually select a shawl and alter the colour of that to finally get a match. My advice would be to rent another Z6 and Ninja and avoid the problem altogether. I also do a regular multicam interview with colour critical items in it and a fast turnaround. I just use the three Z6's because I cannot bear the idea of critical colour matching the Sony. I really doubt if I could do it!

The problem is that in town I can-t rent another Z6, the renter don-t have in stock for rent where I have to shoot. I can only rent a D850, but anyway is different from Z6. Today I tried some test matching Z6 and Gh5, but the results are a bit different... :/ I also tried matching Z6 with D800 that I own but with D800 I don't have too many possibilities It records only 8bit, and If I try to slightly touch colors, all came inusable...

It seems that this xrite color passport chart doesn't work too well for this kind of thing..

I've used the colour passport with Nikon D850 and Panasonic - results were very good

This is not free, and also it seems similar with OFX color space transform...

CineMatch is actually much more accurate than the Color Space Transform, because it compensates for the difference in the sensor performance between the cameras before applying the target color science.

Disclaimer: I work for CineMatch :)
