David,

Congratulations on your participation in so many projects. You have definitely proven yourself to be the 'go to' guy for acting in these fests.

Did you find it a challenge to play so many diverse characters this time around in a short period of time?

And, you probably won't answer this question, but did you have a favorite character out of the different parts you played?

Again, Congrats,

RobertE

Robert E,
Thank you for your comment. To answer your question about the difficulty of playing multiple roles in a short period of time…

In the beginning I thought it was going to be difficult, but due to the fact that most of these where filmed separately from each other on weekends, it gave me a few days during the week to switch gears, do my homework on the role and focus my energies in the right direction.

I have a theatre background and a few times we would work on pieces that required you to play 5-10 different characters in the span of a 2 hour stretch, which IS difficult making sure one character does not bleed into another.

I had great time with the people I worked with for this fest and am grateful to everyone who gave me shot at this. Like any other person working on a film I try to come from a base of “how do my choices (as an actor) best serve the story”. That is as complicated as it gets, the rest is having a good time doing what I love.

Best role…..? That is going to depend on the editor.:)

How many projects were you in, David?

Thank you for your question Rebecca. For this Fest I am in:
The Artist
After Class
The Perfect Crime
& Threading the Needle

David - at the risk of increasing your hat size... I was very impressed at how completely different the character in Captain Fundraiser was from the character in Cache. And in both cases you fit the part perfectly.

I'm really looking forward to this fest and see how you handle these other roles.

Larry,
Thank you for your comment. I haven't seen finished versions of any of the films yet so I hope I pulled it off....but we will see...I am not the best at judging my own work. Thank you for your kind words.

This is from a bachelorette party last year….I needed the money.

Nice! I am looking forward to seeing the diversity you can bring to the roles. I was in two very different roles myself, so I know what its like to shake off one character and prep for the next one. Congrats on your efforts!

Thank you Rebecca! Which films are you in this fest so I can keep my eye out?

That was either the best bachelorette party ev-ah or THE BEST BACHELORETTE PARTY EVER!

There's not too many men that can pull off a hernia on the belly covered with purple spandex and have it be dead sexy. But then again, Dave is no "ordinary" man. Lovin' you. :cheesy:

Yeah, instead of each movie needing to have an erica or eric in it, it would have to have a ConCannon.

But seriously David, your very talented from the stuff I've seen and I wish our scheduling could have worked out for you to be in our movie also (we actually had the jogger for three days instead of the one we originally planned including a pick up we did)

I really can't wait to see what you do for this fest.

Now for the next fest... he he heh, this is what I got planned for you, here (post 93 I think)
