Hey all,

Darkon, will be premiering at the 2006 SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas on March 11, 2006, in the Documentary Competition...

Most of Darkon was shot using the DVX-100A, Varicam for battle coverage and 16mm for slow motion...

Some stunning imagery while still maintaining the documentary feel.

Honestly can't tell if it's a mockumentary or not, but it still looks great and has some good voices.

Looks like a great doc!
 
Thanks... It's not a mockumentary though...

Darkon is a feature doc that follows the real-life adventures of a group of weekend fantasy role-playing gamers whose live action “battleground” is modern-day Baltimore... The film documents them both in their daily lives and in their role-playing lives...
