[WTB] Dana Dolly

Just an FYI, they have changed the speed rail mounting plates on the newer units, and they are much more stable now. In case you run into an older unit.

Thanks, but I'm looking for the Dana Dolly, just seems a little more versatile and forgiving (I've heard the Camtram can seize up if your track isn't perfectly square.)

Good to know. I was originally planning on just getting it from their site, but I figured I would look at the used market first. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for this!

I've had both and the CamTram does a lot more, if the price is right. As for the problems with the track not being square, no dolly likes the track being off including the dana Dolly, but a ladder or the speed rail mount means this never happens.
What I love about the CamTram is all the mount points, that it can run on right angle (ladder), speedrail with the centre o-rings removed or a flat surface, plus upside-down and their motorized mount works really well for quite cheap..... just my 2 bits.
