Let's get together. I have been talking with Mark Castro and he is down.
Are there any others in the DFW metroplex that would like to do a monthly
meeting in the area or perhaps get together and shoot some projects. I just
got my HVX!!

Please respond here and we can get an email group going!

We're in Deep Ellum...have 2 HVX's, Kessler Crane, Dolly...and Chroma Key room in our studios.

I'm around... but the HVX belongs to a company I work for, and have to get access to it. I'll soon be upgrading my DVX and XL2... but waiting to see how NAB goes before I make my final decision.

Michael Owens, I just talked to you via email a few days ago. I'm the guy who mentioned your craigslist ad for the HVX (and we ended up talking about RED).

Do you happen to work with Raine Devries? I talked to him a few weeks ago about a chroma studio in Deep Ellum.

Small world? nah... just great site here.

I am in North Austin but I go up to Ft Worth on business once a month for a weekend, if I am up there around a meeting time I will be sure to stop by.

Ryan,

Yes..Raine is my business partner. We have a chroma suite in our office in Deep Ellum. And yes, I recall the conversation regarding the HVX. We sold it last week...but it's been a nightmare dealing the the guy who bought it. Long story...I'll fill you in sometime. lol.

Come visit us sometime soon if you're in our neighborhood. Always looking for others for collaboration.

Take care,

PS...I'll keep you in the loop on the RED as I know more.

Do you have any screen shots of your set up. i would love to see it. thanks,

OK this is great!. I can work on a spot for our meetings, is there anyone who
would like to colab and get an itenerary going?

I have plenty of space for meetings if anyone's interested. I have 8,500 square feet with 2 1/2 stories...a huge open area with seating and a pretty big conference room as well.

We're actually thinking of starting to have some small film festivals in our space, maybe once a month or so. The space downstairs is perfect for it.
