Today was the first day we worked with a real producer to create the music for us so it fits hand in glove with the lyrics. So far the music is sounding kick ass. Its another ladies joint but this one will have some serious work in it. Its not going to be just some rap over some beats a beat maker dude gave us. This is their first real single they will be able to sell on Itunes and other music selling online stores.
Big ups to Jay Quentin our new producer.

Check out his joint "Bang Bang". Our next joint after this is going to be like that. Play it loud and play it proud bitches!!!

Friggin' stunning.

Intro was cool with the circling around and then he starts to rap.

Good job. I don't really like the edit though, with the two sides and all...

Hey thanks Robbie. I did the 2 sides to make people have to go back and watch it again to see if they missed anything and to tell each story as the other guy performed it.

Tickets $10 and we sold a bunch!!! Might even have Ghost Face Killer from Wutang if hes in town. Dropped tickets off to his best friend today.

We just shot something like this (except we had 2 cameras on 1 steadicam facing opposite directions for the split screen effect...it's never been done before as stated by steadicam) and it made me come back and watch this again. The quality is great man! Still love this video.

Hey thats a great idea but were the cameras facing out to the sides or over the shoulder and in front?
Thanks. Its still getting MV joints for me too. Shooting Poison Pen and i2i from Immortal Techniques crew tomorrow morning I haven't slept yet getting ready for the show and getting ready for the shoot. I'm going to need a Stedicam to glide my metal ass through the day tomorrow. Its going to be rough tomorrow but tonight we be chilling in the Benzo.

Thanks Bill. Me likem colors also. The brighter the better on some things. Really haven't been a desaturated look fan but it may be time to try it soon. Now to just talk someone into it.

Also. New tracks from them from their new mixtape coming out in April called "Truth Be Told"

Things are looking good on the music front. We have a label trying to get us to sign pretty aggressively thats under Def Jam but we are waiting to see what the contract is all about and if the younger MC can still finish out high school without it interfering. The money offered is good but until the fine print has been deciphered no ink will touch the paper. We are trying to negotiate being part of the team without actually being signed for now so we are free to do our thing with who and when we want. Decisions, decisions...

Sorry to anyone who came late and didn't get in. Who would have known it would sell out. I got a few calls from people standing outside but I didn't hear the phone. I had a little guest list going I could have gotten people in on.

Show has been moved to May 23rd @ REBEL 251 West 30th street between 7th and 8th ave. 7pm $7 admission.

We also have some other really good news but will release when its final.

Ok so the good news is that we got picked up by the Ebony Music group to help develop the kids to get them a major label deal. This summer we will be playing at some major venues as part of the promotions and will be now going to be working with big producers to get the music up to par. Keep an ear open for the new single in production now.
