Hey guys,
I have been on this site for a few years now and ever since I got my D90 I have always been actively checking out, and occasionally posting on this fine section. I am continually amazed at the great work everyone is doing with the D90 and all of the amazing technical fixes that members (Kholi, Lee Wilson, Zak Foresman and many others) are coming up with to help us all with the D90's video short comings.
There is no doubt that the D90 is a promising filmmaking tool. There is also no denying the fact that the D90 is a spectacular stills camera.
I am a filmmaker by trade, but have an avid passion for photography. I know there are plenty of people on this thread who also use the D90 for great stills.
I thought it would be fun to make a thread where we can all showcase some of our best still shots we are taking with the D90.
I think it would be cool to keep an on going creative critique thread on the D90 forum. Not meant to undermine the goal of the video emphasis of the D90 on this site, but rather to enhance the D90 experience for us all.
After all photography and cinematography have a LOT in common, so I'm sure a lot of good learning would come out of it either way.
