D90 Cheech and Chong Artful nudity

(I'm posting this on the D90 board figuring this is where it is most relevant.)

Hi everyone,

I am working on an avant, vfx heavy, short starring Cheech and Chong. The C&C footage has already been shot and is in post production.

I need a D90 (of 5DII, I'm going to be roughly matching the focal lengths from the original RedOne/Prime plates -- so a zoom is preferable for flexibility) and someone to wield it. The sequence is going to be green screened nude/body-paint james bondish ladies -- should be fun to shoot.

Anyone Los Angeles folk interested in lending a hand for a day? This project is going to be a showcase piece for me and I really want to get this sequence done right.

You're probably better off shooting with the 5D. It will more closely match the red footage. The D90 might look a bit soft due to it's heavy compression. Is it 30 or 24fps?

Or a long dig down; or up depending on your views regarding relativity.

I was actually thinking that the 30fps would be ideal even though its a 24p project -- theres no harm in lending a bit of slow motion to the sway.

I'm open to any solution so long as the focal lengths can be approximately matched to the RedOne's plates.

I can imagine worse ways to spend an evening.

If the red footage is really clean then the 5D will be a better match. The D90 lacks a bit of definition due to the lousy mjpeg compression.
