D90 at night

SO many people talk about the D90 not being as good as some of the others that have come. I say it is about know what it can't do some you know what it can.

I am kind of slow and didn't have a computer that was able to handle the video but since I have upgraded I have been able to use a mix of D90 and HV30 to make some promo vids.

Take a look at this vid I shot of some fire benders

For on the fly it was pretty good. Of course it would have been sweeter if I had a tripod yet I don't think so bad for hand held

Not bad, actually its not that the D90 isnt good at night. its that its inability to control shutter speed and exposure make it a nightmare to work with at night. At least you locked the exposure but its stil a pain and rolling shutter is pretty bad to.

I loved mine, i really wish nikon would have released manual controls, but as it stands im not regretting switching camps to canon (and htis is from a life long nikon user) one bit.
