So I have been wanting to get some more pro looking footage on my nikon d90. Seeing that the merlin one is a bit expensive, i thought I could try and make one myself.

I bought almost everything in that video, which includes:
-Flash Bracket
-Quick Release
-mini ball head tripod

But my question is that how do I attach the camera and/or the quick release to the bracket, AND attach the tripod to the bracket as a gimble.

I tried asking him and other people as well but still no answers. The screw is too short and wont head the camera steadily in place. After buying everything, im still lost

Thanks!

Without seeing what you actually have, it is difficult to guess. I would probably mod something...a drill, 1/4 inch screws...can you post photos?

I built mine out of pieces of conduit. It is still a work in progress, unfortunately - balancing is a bit of a nightmare.
