I could have made this so much more intense in the edit, but I decided to censor it a bit- just imagine if you want- her story is much more gruesome. Shot in 2 days, edited in 1 long day : )

Thanks to Lakesha for allowing us this story- what a very wonderful woman and mother.

BTW- if you have any comments please leave them here- this is uploaded on my friend's vimeo account and not mine : )

Ive done some work for Rob, but I didnt shoot any noomas. I do often work with the people who made the noomas though, and im about to start shooting a new series with them right now (not nooma).

Thats cool. I am graduation from Northern Michigan University in December with a BFA in Digital Cinema and I might try and hit you up with asking if I could tag along with a project or something sometime.

Thanks Hunter for putting this up! I already know the plus and minuses for both the GH2 and D7000, but just for video which one would you choose if you "had" to choose one. I think you can answer this best because you are more of an "user" than a "technician." Sorry if this question comes off as trite:)

Quality work Hunter, and I bet it feels good to work on a project where you can add value (bigger picture).

On the technical side, I'm also curious on your opinion regarding this cam vs the GH2. The dynamic range on display looks tasty. And can I ask what lenses were used?

heh, same colors I output from my d7k.. nice work. surprised it was all shot with a 50mm. looked like the 35mm.

Thanks, I still really like the gh2. Honestly I just like switching up dslr cameras every now and then as they all have their own look and feel- keeps it fun and interesting for me to shoot with them.

That said d7000 looks like it has the most dynamic range in the highlights than any other video recording dslr I have used, which is something I like- but I dont think its better overall than a gh2 video-wise. Again, just fun to change things up every now and then. Id own every dslr if I could : )

Hi Hunter... the documentary looks great. I am wondering how you are dealing with the added moire/aliasing as compared to the GH cameras? I just switched over and I am finding moire in everything. Are you doing anything in post at all?

Thanks in advance...

A lot of shots of houses I got, I was unable to use because they had moire/aliasing on them- I just tried to keep the focus shallow enough to hide it most of the times.

just a rode video mic pro, audio was pretty bad actually- but mostly because I couldnt monitor the levels in camera (d7000 flaw)
