D7000 Italian Landscape Short Video

very nice. inspiring for my trip to scotland in may.i will have a d7000 with me. how much of a rig did you have for that.just the cam on a decent pod?, or did you have a lot of other addons. and two specific questions. do you use a loupe of some kind?. i tried shooting outdoors without one and its damn near impossible to see anything. and also, how did you do the timelapse of the sunset? thanks

Thank you zaarc
I used a Manfrotto 190 Pro tripod with a manfrotto 501 HD head, nothing else, autofocus before the shot the recorded in manual focus, manual exposure and sunlight WB at 100/200 iso.
The timelapse is a sequence of jpg pictures from the D7000 and slightly edited in lightroom and imported as a sequence in premiere cs5.

The timelapse was beautiful. I assume you just used the intervalometer on the camera?

I have yet to do timelapse but it seems like I should give it a shot...thanks for posting your lovely video!

Liked It alot, My wife and I are planning a trip to Italy for the Fall and your videos are great to show her to get more support on me buying the Camera, If you can make Italy beautiful she'll have no problem with me buying the camera, haha. (Shes pretty much okay with it shes a Nikon lover, has the D700)
But great vids, Pumped to get this cam!
