D600 video, and what is the range of the data values, 0-255 or 16-235?

Nikon DSLR's all record full-range 0-255 video, with an embedded Rec 709 YCC profile. No option to change this in-camera.

Thanks. I think your explanation of what Premiere does with media on import, scaling the IRE display for the imported range, clarified some of the questions I had on this point.
 
does Pr have a way to set this on import? Or does it just auto detect this properly on its own. I'm on cs6 in windows btw...

I only ask because it took me quite a while to learn getting exposure right on this camera. it always showed up a little darker in post.
