I was able to do some tests this week, checking out how close my L-308DC meter was to a 'reasonable' exposure for the D600 in 'video mode'.
Camera setup: 1920x1080 24 fps @ 1/50 @ f/4.5 @ ISO 200 'default' style.
Since I did the minimal of setup, I think it was pretty good for that. I'll be looking in to the various options in the future.
(One of these days I'll get a step wedge target... ).
