D5200 Focusing Past Infinity? :(

I have a D5200 and I noticed that the infinity hard stop on my lenses (28mm f2.8 AF, 50mm f1.8 MF, 135mm f2.5 MF and 18 to 55mm f3.5/5.6 kit lens) actually make objects in the far distance blurry. I have to back off the infinity hard stop to have objects in the far distance be in focus. I am assuming this is not normal behavior, but I'd like to confirm my belief with you guys before talking with Nikon. Thanks!!

The explanation posted here (somewhere...) was that for a lens to be tolerant of heat expansion and cold contraction, a hard stop right on infinity was not advisable. Makes sense I guess.

All my lenses focus past infinity. Otherwise a small error in assembly would make them unable to focus at infinity.
Also, those focusing marks may not be accurate at all.
Super-expensive cinema glass is different, but that's, well, super-expensive.
