I left the subject as just plain out d5000 because there are so many discussions that I would love to have about this camera that I can't decide which one to start off on.
I guess I'll start with the most required one by me right now
I have an HVX200A that I love with all my heart (and my wife knows that)
but!
I find my self (like yesterday during a music video shoot) using the D5000 to get quick sick shots that would take a little more with the HVX and the M2E.
So! Here's my main issue right now: Editing
The hvx footage goes into Premiere, no problem.
The .avi in the other hand, :-Cry(DBG): issues.
So, with that said, does anyone have a solution or the best workflow using d5000 footage?
Which indeed! I got some sick shots on with some great exposure and tones, but I need this footage to be friendly to me.
Also, If I drop it in Vegas, it gives me a pop-up that states I need to buy some weird codec. I'm not sure that's going to help. I mean really... I have Premiere Pro CS4 and Vegas Pro9 on the same machine and quicktime pro, I haven't been missing any codecs before?
This is the popup:
Can anyone chime in?
Thanks,
-Luis-
side note for the mods:
Mods, I was looking for the D5000 right under the D90 on the main page but...
would be nice to have one :lipsrseal just saying....
