D4 connector coming loose, any fixes?

I read when we first bought the cameras, that the looseness was intentional to keep it from breaking off the D4 connector if the cable was pulled.
I agree, it's a sucky connector and yes, I have to sort of push it in to get the connection. I am using a C-47 and clipping the cable to the handgrip strap as a strain relief, seems to help quite a bit. Try it!

Ya, I can see the reason they left it loose. It seems people like to trip over the monitor cord.
It would be nice if there was a cable clip that attached to the bar above the connector (that supports the on-camera mic) so you could snap the cable in tightly, but would still allow it to pop out if the cord gets snagged.
