Still getting my head around the D300s, the amazing lack of information in the manual notwithstanding. Here's my first real shoot, wanted to see the results in ultra low light situations that usually make a HDV camera cry. And I have to say I am really happy.

It seems to old up in low light well. Some shots looked like a wide angle was used?

Yeah it did surprisingly well, in some parts the only light was a couple of parcans with red gels. Unfortunately my Redrock order hadn't arrived when i shot this so it was all done with just a monopod so not as stable as i would have liked, that and my main 'everyday' lens was in the shop so I had to shoot it all with an 80 - 200mm which is a beast of a lens to hold steady for a still shot let alone moving :) Your right I used a 10.5mm fisheye for a couple of shots, but as my wife correctly pointed out after I got it, I went a little fisheye crazy, shooting everything with it, so I now only allow myself one or two shots with it a day, its a painful process but it works if you work it ;)
