it's very well written. definitely of the era of 70's gonzo journalism. marty bregman tried to produce a movie of it a long time ago. when it didn't work out, he produced scarface instead.

interesting to read an old post like this, a year later, having accomplished exactly what i set out to do. this has been one of the best years of my life.
 
I get bored with myself.

I changed to beat from that DVXuser movie casting thread, someone said I remind them of him in a bunch of ways so I changed it as a joke.
