Customizing scene file

I have a scene file that I modified before the last firmware update, the update that re aligned the camera's color. It was called scene file 4 and I like what it does

If I have all the parameters from the old scene file, is there any way that I can properly modify it so it looks the same with the latest firmware update or am I better off just retrograding to the previous camera's parameters, which one can do in the menu. I have all the settings written down in a table.

I'm not sure that it will be possible for you to try and transpose your previous parameters into new new parameters that will be instantly compatible in the new firmware. I'm guessing that you hoping to find something that says if something is +1 then it should now be -9.

I think many of us have found that if you change one setting, it can impact another setting. With the upgraded firmware, something that you may have changed might no longer need touched and something that you didn't change may now need an adjustment. I think it would probably take someone of Barry's caliber to analyze your existing scene on a scope and then massage settings in the new firmware to get them to line up in the same way and even then that may not even be as straight forward as it seems.

okay, I suspected as much. So what about the other scene files that are in the camera after the latest update? Besides the Scene file 4 GH4 look alike, did Panasonic change the remaining scene files to match the firmware update or are they in fact the same scene files as the ones before the firmware update? I am asking this as it may help me determine settings for my own scene file which was made before the update.

I don't believe that any scene files changed after any of the firmware updates. Even though some of the factory scene files now seem much better after the firmware upgrade I'd really like to see Panasonic do a whole new set of files. I have to believe they would be much much better with the new way color is processed.
