I've recently tried to streamline my shooting process with the GH2. To do this, I've been attempting to use the custom settings (C1, C2, C3). However, I've been having a little trouble with the shutter speed saving.
My goal is to make C1 my "1080p24" option. That way when I want to shoot 1080p24, I just twist to C1 and I have a good base to be ready to shoot (obviously ISO, aperture, etc would potentially be tweaked as needed for each shot). Then C2 would become my "720p60" option for when I think I may be in need to some slow motion.
For the most part I've gotten my C1 and C2 buttons mapped correctly, but I am noticing one slight issue. I want to have the C1 button set the cameras shutter speed to 50 (and the C2 button to set it to 125) as this will adhere to the "double framerate rule." However, as I switch between the custom settings, the shutter speed doesnt seem to be saving.
I guess I wanted to see if I'm doing something wrong with how I'm saving my custom buttons or if the GH2 is simply not able to save the shutter speed in this way.
