Custom Scene Files and White Balance

What is the proper white balance workflow when using custom scene files?

Suppose I wanted to white balance for every camera setup in a scene and I'm using custom scene files: do I have to reset/change over to a default version of my current (custom) scene file while white balancing, and then switch back to custom scene file that I used for the last camera setup.

I guess another way of saying this is:
Will white balancing while using a custom scene file (one with non-default settings for chroma level, chroma phase, and/or color temp) affect the results of the white balance.

white balance as u would normally do.

If you custom white balance, then all those will be in effect but if you go to a preset, then they will not.
